EDUCATION DAY
Welcome to the page of the Education Day!
During this day you will get to know your teachers and fellow students. Note that you're expected to attend this day, even if you're not participating in the full introduction week. It is an important day, as you will be amongst others be signing up for your first courses and exams. All new students computing science will be present here, and the day acts as a kick-start for your educational career. There are no costs associated with this day. The day will be on Monday, August 21, from 10:00 to 15:30.
This page will contain all the most up-to-date information on the Education Day that we have, so make sure that you keep checking this page, even until the hour before it starts!

If you are not planning on joining in the introduction week itself, and only on the Education Day, please send an e-mail to intro@thalia.nu, containing your name, phone number, mail address, and the language you are speaking.
SCHEDULE
10:00 - 10:45
Presentation by Thalia board and Introduction Committee
Location: Linneaus building, lecture room 1 (LIN1)
Thalia's board will present themselves and tell you all what the Study Association is about. The Introduction committee will do the same and tell you all about the orientation! This event is not necessarily relevant if you are just attending the education day, but might still be fun!
10:45 - 11:30
Presentation by Education board, teachers and study advisors
Location: Linneaus building, lecture room 1 (LIN1)
The education board, teachers and study advisors will present themselves en tell you what their role is within the study programme and what they can do for you!
11:30 - 12:30
Lunch and registration for courses
Location: Huygens Building
Mentors will help you with registering for all of the courses and exams for the first semester. They will walk you through the full process and give some some useful tips. During this time you will also get some lunch from us!
12:30 - 15:30
Game rounds
Location: Huygens building
In various rounds you will play games with your group. Teacher from different departments will guide you with the games and tell you more about their field fo work.
